Vato Kavtaradze
Vato’s primary education was a BA degree in Sociology from Tbilisi State University. However, after becoming passionate about advertising, he moved to Moscow to study in the International Institute of Advertisement and the faculty of Advertising Management at Russian State Humanitarian University. After returning to Tbilisi, he worked as a creative director at Kedi/McCann-Erickson, Georgia and in 2004 founded Windfor’s Advertising, which over the years became one of the leading agencies on the local ad market, providing effective and memorable ad campaigns for the various primary businesses – leading banks, insurance, communications and development companies. Windfor’s Advertising received various local advertising awards (Best Agency 2008, Best TV Commercials in 2008, 2009 and 2010), as well as Bronze award at Kiev International Advertising Festival in 2008. In 2009 Vato founded Art Directors’ Club Georgia. He was also a member of the jury at the 2009 ADCE awards in Barcelona. In November 2010 he graduated from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, MBA.Vato considers brand communication as a modern form of philosophy and is extremely excited about the future of the industry; he believes that brands are transforming into more human forms of existence with socially valuable behavioral shapes.
