Michael Varov

Michael Varov is one of the best creators in Kazakhstan, he was invited to join BBDO Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) in 2009.

Under his leadership were developed the campaigns, which showed results that were included in the top 5 of the world on the basis of client assessment. These are campaigns for Pepsi and Wrigley.

Michael Varov is repeated winner of Choice of the Year in a variety of categories.

КHe started from writing of advertising scripts for production studios. In 2002 he joined the staff of the Network Agency STYX & Leo Burnett as a copywriter. From 2003 to 2009 he rose from copywriter to creative director in Panda Advertising Agency (Young & Rubicam).

Being the legend of kazakh punk rock and avant-garde poetry, Michael concurrently engaged in writing electronic music and is front men of well-known punk band Grandchester.
